Euthanasia services
Notice as of July 1: Although I have not raised my prices in several years, it has now become necessary. Cremation services have become significantly more expensive over the last several years. In an effort to keep home euthanasia services as accessible as possible for everyone, I have instituted only a modest increase in price for the euthanasia appointment itself and no price increase for the cremation packages. However, I have now changed prices on some of the memorial items and there will be a charge if you would like a name plate to go with your baby’s urn in the private cremation package.
At home euthanasia:

All euthanasias include a clay paw print and hair clipping. I can also arrange for your friend's cremation. See pricing below.
Add Pre-appointment sedation: $50 (this is NOT the sedative injection given during the appointment. Please see pre-appointment sedation page for fuller explanation. If you have additional questions, please contact us.)
Quality of Life Consultation:
$200
For those pet parents who would like to talk about their family’s situation to determine if euthanasia is the best option for their furry baby or if other supportive or comfort options are available. Quality of Life Consultations do not include medications and follow-up. If you feel your baby is needing pain medications and/or other followup care, please schedule a hospice visit.
Euthanasia services are provided on an appointment basis only. I do not provide emergency evening and weekend services. If you feel that your pet needs immediate care during the evening or on a weekend, please contact your local emergency clinic.

Cremation services are provided by Heavenly Paws of Texas.
Each private cremation will include an urn which can be viewed by clicking the “urn selection” button above. The package also includes a framed, clay paw print, and a hair clipping. You can order additional clay paw prints, ink paw and nose prints, and a name plate or disc if you wish. Please let us know on your appointment form or at your appointment if you wish to order additional items.
If you have elected a communal cremation, a clay paw print is included in the price of your appointment. The paw print will be made at the time of your appointment if you would like one.
Hospice care services
Initial hospice visit:
$300
Initial visit includes records review and consultation with your family veterinarian as well as the initial history and physical exam. Hospice care also includes followup consultation with the veterinarian to help you with additional questions. All additional medical care will be quoted at the time of the visit.
Subsequent hospice visits:
$100
All additional medical care will be quoted at the time of the visit
Hospice care will be in coordination with your family veterinarian.
added mileage fee
For appointments taking place significantly outside of 1604, an extra trip fee of $25-50.00 will be added to your total.
Locations requiring an added mileage fee include, but are not limited to: Fair Oaks Ranch, the Dominion, Boerne, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Seguin, La Vernia, Floresville, Pleasanton, Castroville, Medina Lake, and Bandera.
